The tourist brand for Nizhny Novgorod was developed at the British High School of Design (Moscow).
The urgency of the project is undisputed, as Nizhny Novgorod is often confused with Veliky Novgorod.
Although the city is one of the largest historical and cultural centers in the country and home to the most
famous types of Russian applied art, it stays generally unknown abroad.Branding, Graphic Design2011

When novelty keeps the old age alive…Globalization and high technologies have played a dirty trick with traditions, and it’s particularly obvious as far as agriculture and farming are concerned. Products lose their authenticity, personal touch and attention to detail. We face impersonality and “grey mass”. Myllyn Paras is a global company, but we believe that modernization can play on the side of tradition: not destroying, but keeping it. Our packaging design is to illustrate this safekeeping — both literally and metaphorically…Branding, Illustration, Packaging2013

Why not sell sausage in centimeters rather than grams?
Such decor will aid:
- in determining the exact mass of the piece in grams;
- in cutting equal pieces;
- in adding the right amount of the product as stated in a recipe;
- in keeping an eye on how much sausage has been eaten while you were away.Branding, Packaging2013
When you get presents there are always things to be used and things to be kept (except things to be trashed away). This is fair for wine too. When the wine is too good to be drunk at once it is usually carefully stored laid horizontally. When it’s not – it stands proudly vertical at the table for half an hour and this is it.
We created a concept for a corporate present containing two bottles of wine – one to be drunk at once for people to thank us for today’s good mood and the other to be kept and remember us warmly.
The boxes were made with Russian and English text versions.Packaging2013
